At the Foreign Language Immersion School, both academic excellence and multilingualism serve as the core foundation of everything we do. From our youngest students starting at infancy up to our elementary students, our curriculum is specifically designed to stimulate and challenge each and every student and accelerate their cognitive development based on the most current research and teaching methodologies. Classes at our school are deliberately small (on average 12 students per class), and taught by dedicated and highly qualified teachers, who are fluent in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and/or French along with English and who recognize the importance of and take the time to get to know the unique personality characteristics and individuality of each student in their class, how each student learns, and what motivates each student to excel and reach his/her maximum potential.
In addition to developing fluency in multiple different languages and receiving a well-rounded, liberal arts education that encompasses daily classes in language arts, mathematics, geography, social studies/history, science, music and art, a student at the Foreign Language Immersion School acquires and develops invaluable leadership skills, including, but not limited to, communication and public speaking, out-of-the-box problem-solving, creative and independent thinking, and critical judgment. These tools coupled with a strong moral compass and ethical character, which our school promotes and engenders, equip our students with the ability to become the leaders of tomorrow.
