Foreign Language Immersion School: Summer Camps in Orlando

Enriching, Educational, and Exciting Programs to Keep your Child’s Mind Sharp This Summer

Let your children participate in a sensory explosion of creative learning! The Foreign Language Immersion School’s summer camps in Orlando allow students to embark on a series of hands-on adventures exploring STEAM subjects like science, culture, math, and art. In addition, campers will explore the Spanish language with immersion instruction and play in Spanish and English.

Program Information 

Our convenient location in the heart of Celebration, FL, provides easy access for campers in Kissimmee, Four Corners, Davenport, Winter Garden, and South Lake County. Our camps have a variety of themes to spark any child’s interest. Students don’t need to be enrolled in FLIS or have any foreign language background to join.

Camp rate: $253 per week + $12.50 per week materials fee

Holiday Week Camp rate (Weeks 1,4,6) : $225 per week + $10.00 per week materials fee

Camp ages: 5* – 10

Summer camp hours:
Complimentary morning care and breakfast: 7:30 am – 9:00 am
Camp 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
Aftercare 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm (additional $15 per week)

*Five-year-olds must enter kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year to participate. 

Program Descriptions

Week 1: May 27-30*, 2025
Sculpture Sensations: The Art of Squishy Creations!
Get ready to squish, mold, and shape your way to artistic greatness in Sculpture Sensations! This week, campers will explore fun, tactile sculptures made from materials that are just as fun to play with as they are to create. From squishy foam dough to textured clay and gooey putty, campers will create hands-on masterpieces that are perfect for squishing, stretching, and squashing. As they mold and shape, they’ll also learn the secrets behind the materials’ textures, how polymers work, and how artists use different mediums to make amazing tactile art. Whether it’s building with soft foam, shaping squishy clay sculptures, or creating interactive sensory art pieces, the possibilities are endless. Come ready to squish, mold, and craft your way through a week of tactile fun!

Week 2: June 2-6, 2025
Cooking Around the World
Hello! Bonjour! Konnichiwa! Hola! Ni Hao! Chao! We are dedicated to introducing your little chef to all the world has to offer, one dish at a time. We will create local dishes from scratch, learn proper cooking and preparation techniques, and explore history, culture, geography, and even a little math and science along the way.  On our journey, we will discover new ingredients and flavors, challenge ourselves to expand our knowledge and skills, and most of all, have fun!

Week 3: June 9-13, 2025
Candy Chemistry
AWE-STEM candy challenges using scientific properties to teach kids how to solve problems systematically by opening your own candy factory lab with easy to do candy science activities that will make you feel like Willy Wonka himself. Skittles, M&M’s, Pop Rocks, gum drops, and chocolate are perfect for exploring science concepts. Taste, touch, see, smell, and hear our candy science activities. We will use candy to make your kids smarter and your kids will love you for it!

Week 4: June 16-20*, 2025
Wild Wonders: Animal Adventures in STEAM
Get ready for a wild ride into the animal kingdom in Wild Wonders: Animal Adventures in STEAM! This week, campers will dive deep into the world of animals and explore how science, technology, engineering, art, and math help us understand and protect them. Through hands-on experiments, creative projects, and animal-inspired challenges, campers will become junior zoologists, engineers, and artists! From building habitats to studying animal adaptations, each activity will spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and celebrate the amazing creatures that share our planet. Get ready to unleash your creativity and discover the wild wonders of the animal kingdom through STEAM!

Week 5: June 23-27, 2025
Mad Scientists
Put on your lab coat and safety goggles—it’s time to experiment, explore, and go full mad scientist! This hands-on week will spark curiosity as young chemists dive into exciting, messy, and mind-blowing experiments. Campers will make predictions, test crazy concoctions, and observe surprising reactions just like real scientists. From bubbling potions to color-changing mixtures, they’ll mix, measure, and modify their way through a world of wacky science. Get ready for a week filled with fizzing, foaming, and fantastic fun!

Week 6: June 31-July 3*, 2025
Brick, Block & Code
Get ready for a week of building, creating, and coding in a world where imagination meets technology! In Brick, Block & Code, campers will dive into the exciting universes of LEGO, Minecraft, and Roblox while learning the basics of coding and game design. Through hands-on activities, digital challenges, and real-world engineering, they’ll bring their creative ideas to life—whether constructing epic LEGO builds, designing Minecraft structures, or coding their own interactive Roblox games. Each day will be packed with fun, from physical challenges to digital problem-solving, making this the ultimate STEM-powered adventure!

Week 7: July 7-11, 2025
Edible Creations: A Food Art Adventure!
Let’s turn food into art! This week, we’ll explore the creative side of cooking by crafting edible masterpieces inspired by holidays and celebrations from around the world. From designing spooky Halloween treats to sculpting festive winter delights, campers will transform simple ingredients into eye-catching, delicious works of art. They’ll also have the chance to unleash their imagination, inventing their own food crafts in a fun, hands-on environment. Through color, texture, and creativity, we’ll see food in a whole new way—because the best kind of art is the one you can eat!

Week 8: July 14-18, 2025
Imaginative Inventions
Let your kid’s imagination run wild! Campers will complete collaborative and project-based activities that will encourage them to invent new things to boost their creativity, visualization skills, and their ability to think critically. With a little bit of ingenuity, you’ll construct catapults and forts, build airplanes that fly. While Edison said invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, this camp is 100% fun!

Week 9: July 21-25, 2025
SLIMEOLOGY
Kids LOVE the AMAZING tactile sensory experience slime provides! Gitter, butter, rainbow, flubber, floam, and fluffy slime all provide that fun squishy and stretchy texture that just begs to be played with. While busy mixing and measuring, campers will learn about the unique chemical composition that makes up slime! Who knew leaning about mixtures, molecules, polymers, viscosity, and chemical reactions could be so much fun?

Week 10: July 28-August 1, 2025
Messy Masterpieces
Let’s get messy, creative, and bold in a week where there are no limits to imagination! Messy Masterpieces is all about big art, bold colors, and hands-on creativity. Campers will explore different artistic styles and techniques, using unexpected tools and materials to create one-of-a-kind works of art. From splatter painting to textured sculptures and collaborative murals, every day will be filled with exciting, messy, and out-of-the-box projects. Get ready to drip, swirl, splatter, and sculpt your way through a week of wild creativity—because the best masterpieces are made when you’re not afraid to make a mess!

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you wish to cancel enrollment, please contact our office about rescheduling so your child can participate in a different camp. If rescheduling is not possible, please provide written notice 30 days before the start of camp to receive a refund, less 10% (we do not offer refunds on the registration fee). 

Please contact the office if you need to cancel with less than 30 days’ notice.
You could receive a refund (less 10%) if we fill the spot.
No refunds will be offered if we cannot fill your child’s place.
